Suppliers
Everyone this client buys from — contacts, codes, status.
The Suppliers tab is the AP-side mirror of Customers. Same layout, same source-agnostic model, same filtering — just for everyone the client pays instead of everyone who pays them.
Open it from any client → Suppliers.
What you see
| Column | What it is |
|---|---|
| Name | Supplier's company name. Click to open detail. |
| Code | Source-system code (e.g. SUP001 from SQL Account). |
| Currency | Default invoicing currency. |
| Terms | Credit period in days. |
| Status | Active / Inactive. |
| Source | integration / manual / etc. |
Sorted by name, A–Z. Up to 500 rows per page.
Filtering and searching
Same toolbar as the Customers tab:
- Search — name or code (case-insensitive, debounced)
- Active filter — All / Active only / Inactive only
URL-driven (?search=…&active=yes).
The detail page
Click any supplier → all the list columns, plus External ID. Email and phone are placeholders today and will ship in a future release.
A bill history listing per supplier will appear once the AP tab is wired up for cross-links.
Where do suppliers come from?
Same answer as customers: imported from your accounting software during migration, or added manually once that feature ships. Future sources include Xero / QuickBooks and CSV bulk import.
Role access
Same RLS rules as everywhere — Partner / Manager see all firms' suppliers, Staff / Viewer see only assigned clients. CRUD is read-only in v1.
